Religious and Heritage Case Study:
St Johns Church Kenilworth Re Ordering and vestry extension

This project involved the removal of the antiquated timber floor to the building and its replacement with a modern precast concrete beam and block floor with a new screed, insulation and underfloor heating.

Bespoke oak panelling and cupboards were installed to compliment the existing along with a new staircase. The church was completely re-wired and equipped with new audio visual equipment and mood lighting.

The vestry extension created a new kitchen, toilet facilities and a meeting room and was constructed from traditional stone to match the existing church.

The project also involved a new vestry extension as well as replacement oak double glazed entrance screen.

Schools & Education Case Study:
Woodlands School, Coleshill

Miller Hughes Construction were involved in the erection of this new prefabricated off site class room at Woodlands and the installation of the new disabled access.

The work carried out has provided considerable benefits for the day to day running of the school providing much needed space and improved accessibility.

Domestic & Residential Case Study: Fieldgate Lane

This impressive new build feature property was constructed to a similar design and style to the old Quarry House next door, as it was constructed on the garden of the existing property.

The sandstone work was produced to exact measurements and produced a very effective finish. The windows and doors were all purpose made hardwood.

MOOG Headquarters

MHCL carried out the civil engineering, groundworks and external works at the new Moog headquarters in Tewkesbury including new hard landscaping and car parking provided this successful engineering company with improved facilities to support their UK operations.

Phillip Miller

Director

Phill is the son of a builder and started working for a major building contractor as soon as he left school. After gaining his qualifications, Phill spent over 10 years working for building contractors across the midlands. In the mid-nineties he set up his own company and has gained extensive experience of the industry.

Jeremy Hughes

Director

Jeremy first met Phill when he was working as a Quantity Surveyor for the same building contractor in the early 1990’s. He has qualifications in construction and surveying and is a Chartered Surveyor. He has worked for many of the countries largest Contractors, and is also a 50 percent owner of Miller Hughes Construction.
